SUNDAY SCHOOL
Everything combined together to give the Sunday School a fun day in August, at Dover. After a thorough exploration of the Castle we moved on to a local park to eat our lunch, followed by cricket with the Vicar for the energetic, and duck-watching and paddling for the younger members; and, praise God, the sun shone!

STOCKBURY PARISH COUNCIL
The promised climbing frame has now been erected and we hope is enjoyed by the children. It cost £283. If properly treated, the next Parish Assembly could consider agreeing to the purchase of a further item of equipment.
The Parish Council is concerned about vandalism in the village, and about young unqualified boys driving cars at high speed, and about the lack of action by the police to control it.
The Council would like to thank those who continue to report problems to members. Such action helps when making a case to the District Council to try to get some action to bring the village back to a peaceful way of life.
