MINI YOUTH CLUB

The trip to the Panto was most enjoyable and Cinderella made a personal visit to the Club members while they enjoyed their tea.

I understand that the treasurer, Mrs. Jill Sedge, is still smiling because the Club is still solvent, thanks to a generous donation. The birthday party is something to look forward to.

NOT SO YOUNG CLUB

On January 5th the members went to the pantomime at Maidstone to see Cinderella. It was a first-rate show and much enjoyed by everyone. Now we are looking forward to our meetings in the coming year: remember - first and third Tuesdays in each month at 7.30 p.m.

STOCKBURY GARDENERS' CLUB

A lovely evening was had at our New Year's Eve Party, attended by sixty-four people who joined happily in the games and dancing. It was nice to see so many from the Youth Club.

We started 1977 with a visit from Miss Pullar of Headcorn, who gave us an interesting and humorous talk about Preserves ; twenty-one members were present. Our February meeting will be in the Village Hall on Thursday the 3rd, and our speaker on that occasion will be Mr. Wickham, who will talk about Pests and Diseases.
