aware that discussion is not everybody's cup of tea, and Lent is a time when we should all, with our varied natures, have the opportunity to deepen our spiritual life.

Still on the subject of Lent, I hope to have some books in church at Hartlip which are suitable for Lenten reading, and I hope that people will buy them and take the opportunity that Lent provides for learning more about our faith. And, talking of reading, the recently published GOOD NEWS BIBLE is a 'good read' - and it has some marvellous line-drawing illustrations! Have you gat a copy ?

God bless your keeping of Lent.

Yours sincerely,

Neville Brook.
