STOCKBURY PARISH COUNCIL
It has been decided to purchase a climbing frame for the playing field.
The Council are very concerned that decisions on planning matters are being ignored by certain people, and are asking the District Council for a full report to see if they are going to control the situation.
The democratic half-hour is proving a success. Members of the public do attend and their views are very welcome.

STOCKBURY JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS
June 11th was a wonderful day! The whole village entered into the spirit of the celebrations, although the weather could have been better. The sports went ahead despite the cold and later about 140 children had an enjoyable tea in the Hall, and each was presented with a Jubilee Crown and a balloon. Mr. Pancake, with his Punch and Judy and magic, completed the afternoon for the children.
About 150 people attended the dance in the evening. It was great to see so many people enjoying themselves.
