CHOIR NOTES

Dawn Davison recently left the choir on starting work and it is fitting that some mention should be made here. Dawn had been in the choir ten years almost to the day and was, therefore, the second longest serving member. Her loyalty was first-rate and she could always be relied on to be present at practices and at all services. We thank her for her work in the choir and wish her well in her job. And we hope to see her in church on the other side of the choir screen.

We are always an the look-out for new choir members, by the way, and if anyone is interested, please get in touch either with me or with Mr. Carey.

CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP

Once again we started our season with the Harvest Supper; which was enjoyed by all who attended. An excellent entertainment by local talent followed the equally good meal. Thank you to all who contributed, artistes and caterers. The programmes for the new season are now in circulation and we hope that many friends will be able to meet with us in the next few months.

READERS' LETTER TO THE EDITOR

Dear Sir,

Once more we have had our Harvest Supper. The atmosphere of fellowship and enjoyment was as evident as ever. We would like to express our appreciation of the effort of so many people in making it such a success and we are sure that in doing so we are echoing the feelings of all those present. The supper was delicious and the entertainment excellent and showed plenty of talent. It is sad that more residents do not come.
