May 13 B.P. (Kent), 157 - 6 dec. (Holden 3 32). Hartlip, 72 -1 (Green 31 n.o., D. Ford, 23 n.o.).
Played on a warm, sunny day, but every ball bowled marked the soft pitch. Some really good fielding from Hartlip in spite of a tricky outfield. The extra half-hour was not claimed. Our morale is good!

Since our last report we have collected for the Churchyard Fund, distributed leaflets for Christian Aid Week and tried to clear one elderly person's garden. We also greatly enjoyed an unusual talk by Mr. Hull on "Seeds, pollination and observation of nature".
