church, Halling and Maidstone bands), there was some very hearty singing in church and the ladies of the Mothers' Union were treated to some pleasant handbell-ringing at the Hall, while they cleared away and washed up. It is at least six years since the previous meeting, but I hope it will not be so long before it happens again.
Sick Communions
Will be gladly arranged for any who are prevented by illness or infirmity from making their Easter communion. Please do not hesitate to get in touch with me.
Donations
Towards the cost of Easter lilies, in remembrance of some relation or friend, will be gratefully received by my wife or Mrs. Stevens and used for the sanctuary arrangements. Each lily usually costs about 5s. Gifts of other white or yellow flowers for Easter Sunday will be welcomed, if possible brought to the church on the Saturday morning.

Nurse Shellock
On 27th February, before a small representative company at the vicarage, Mrs. Shellock was presented with a Revelation picnic basket and a cheque for £26 15s., as a token of the respect and gratitude of the parish, after 25 years' service as midwife and district nurse. She wishes to send the following expression of thanks:
"I want to say a very big 'Thank you' to all who gave so generously gave to my testimonial. It will always remind me of many happy associations and not least to feel I may have been of some service to you. - Nora A. Shellock."
Easter Offering
The churchwardens would like to draw the attention of all parishioners to the custom of giving the offerings on Easter Day to the Vicar. It is possible that some members of the Church will be out of the parish on that day but would like to make some contribution. If so, would they please hand it in an envelope to one of the churchwardens before Easter Day. Collections will be taken during the services on that day.
