A Christmas Party with a difference came from the Young Wives' Fellowship on 17th December. Invited friends were greeted by glasses of sherry, gleaming silver candelabra, beautiful floral decorations and side-tables laden with an excellent buffet supper. Competitions, games and dancing were succeeded by short sketches and traditional carols by members themselves. A ticket bought will give you a pleasant evening or, in the event of non-attendance, be a donation to this good cause.

First Aid lectures are equipping them to help others in life's emergencies. Each individual Guide made at least one article for the Church Bazaar and each patrol has done a Christmas "good turn", taking the form of such things as a large parcel of toys for an orphanage or a hamper of groceries for a needy, elderly parishioner.
