The Vicar has purchased a good Magic Lantern, which he hopes to make use of during this winter in illustrating lectures of an instructive as well as entertaining character.
Mrs. Farmer hopes, during this month, to commence holding a weekly Mothers' Meeting at the Vicarage. Further notice will be given of the exact date and hour.
Many parishes have an Annual Tea or even a Supper in connection with their Anniversary or "Dedication" Services. We hope to have a Tea on Tuesday, 4th October. Tickets will be 4d. each. Tea at 6.30 p.m. Entertainment 7.30.

The date of the "Jumble" Sale will probably be Saturday, October 22nd. We are glad to hear that the plan is liked. Any articles for the Sale may be sent to the Vicarage. Please ask friends at a distance to send things, and to come and buy.
The Library has been moved to the School, and a great many new books have been added. It will be re-opened at 4.15 o'clock on Monday, 10th October.
