Two beautiful presents have been lately made to our Church. One is a hand-made lace fringe for the Altar, worked and given by Miss E. Pollett; and the other is ten new surplices, given by Miss West.

Our Cricket Club played a match with the Bridgewood Rangers from Borstal, at Hartlip Place, on Saturday 8th. We have not room for the full score. Hartlip won on the first innings 58 against Borstal's 28. Hartlip's second innings had reached 124 when stumps were drawn. The following made noticeable scores on our side: A. Webb, 57; R. Lock, 39 ; and S. Wakeley, 24.

The Offertories on 5th June will be for Home Missions. £1 1s. has been sent to the Diocesan Temperance Society as our contribution on Temperance Sunday, May 8th.
