THE HARTLIP CHURCH MONTHLY.
On the 14th February there will be collections at all services for the Sunday School expenses.
There were 39 Communicants on Christmas Day. The Carol Services were much appreciated. We thank all kind helpers for the tasteful decorations, and for the hearty music.
The Drawing Examination of the School was on 8th December. The Inspector reports the result "Excellent." The Vicar gave prizes to (1) Sidney Hewett; (2) Harry Lampkin; (3) Frederick Sone.
The Archdeacon (The Ven. B. F. Smith) inducted the Vicar on December 4th, at 6.30 p.m. There was a good congregation, including 20 from Borstal.

A white silk burse and veil worked and presented by Miss A. West, of Bickley, were used for the first time on Christmas Day. The Vicar has also given to the Church a silver-mounted shell for Baptisms.

Please correct January list of Baptisms as follows:-
Aug. 23rd - Harold Alfred, son of Robert John and Mary Jane Price Milgate.
The Confirmation will be at Upchurch on May 19th, at 7.30 p.m.
Ash Wednesday Services, 9 a.m. (children); 11 a.m.; 7.30 (with sermon).
Accounts of the Missionary Meeting and of the Concert will be given next month.
