THE HARTLIP CHURCH MONTHLY.

The Government Inspector reports on our School: "The School continues to maintain its character for thoroughness and finish in the whole of the work." He has given the highest possible grants, amounting to £61 14s.

The Diocesan Inspector has also sent an excellent Report, and so has the Inspector of Drawing, who has given us the highest possible grant, £2 10s.

The Misses Farmer, of the Mythe, Atherstone, have given a purple silk Burse and Veil for use in Advent and Lent to Hartlip Church.

In Holy Week (the week before Easter) there will be Morning Prayer each day at 10 o'clock and Evening Prayer at 4.15, except on Maunday Thursday (14th April), when the Evening Service will be at 7.30 with preparation for the Easter Communion, - and on Good Friday when the Services will be at 11.0 and 6.30. On Easter Sunday, the Holy Communion will be celebrated both at 8.30 and after Matins.

The Easter Vestry will be at 7.30 p.m. on Easter Monday, for the usual business.

The Offertories in February were £2 16s. 1½d., and those on 13th March (for Diocesan Education Society) were £1. On 3rd April they will be for Church Expenses, including the extra expenses of the Evening Service.
