The Hall Committee responded quickly to the proposals, and since their meeting on July 6th, a sub-committee met the Youth Club twice to discuss plans, and the project was accepted at a special meeting on July 24th.
It is now up to the Youth Club to justify the confidience of the Hall Committee and do a good job on the conversion through August. (Any other offers of help will be gratefully received also.) The Hall Committee and the Youth Club are jointly financing the scheme, and all labour is voluntary, and free. It is hoped to open thee new club (with a new name) on September 1st, and full details will be announced in next month's magazine.
